Crude Oil Exports: The Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee recently voted on legislation that would lift the crude oil exports ban. In preparation for this critical vote, Energy Nation mobilized advocates and industry members to contact members of Congress through email outreach, patch-through phone programs, and geo-targeted social media outreach. In total, Energy Nation advocates have sent 17,750 emails to their members of Congress in 2015. As Congress heads home for August recess, Energy Nation will continue to put pressure on targeted Senators and Representatives to lift the crude oil exports ban.

Renewable Fuel Standard: Energy Nation led a successful campaign to put pressure on the EPA throughout the public comment period regarding the proposed biofuel blend standards. When the comment period ended on July 27th, 9,413 comments had been submitted by energy industry advocates.

Pennsylvania Severance Tax: A successful coordination between Energy Nation, a wide array of industry groups and leaders, API Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and others resulted in the state legislature voting to not include the severance tax proposal in the budget plan sent to the Governor. As negotiations continue, Energy Nation is focused on regionalized messaging and mobilizing advocates across Pennsylvania to maintain pressure on targeted state legislators. Energy Nation advocates have generated over 1,870emails to strategically targeted legislators.
